Class 2 HGV Driver
Location: Bicester Salary:£16.50 ph PAYE ADV
Job Type:Full-time / Temp-to-Perm
Start Date:Immediate start
Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Class 2 driver to join our transport team, responsible for the safe and timely delivery of pre-pack kitchen furniture to customer sites. Up to 4 nights out, with a night allowance of £25. No weekend shifts
- Safely operate a Class 2 (7.5-32 tonne) vehicle to deliver pre-pack kitchen furniture to trade customers, retailers, and delivery points.
- 3 to 4 drops
- Plan and follow efficient, multi-drop delivery routes
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance issues
- Load and unload boxed kitchen units and furniture safely, using manual handling techniques and appropriate equipment (e.g. pallet trucks, tail lifts)
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Flexibility with working hours and routes
