This is a great opportunity for an experienced commercial driver looking for seasonal work, with full training provided on the gritting equipment and procedures.
The Role
- Driving a company van safely and responsibly
- Carrying out gritting duties across designated areas
- Operating gritting equipment following full training
- Completing daily vehicle checks
- Completing all required paperwork and documentation
- Working safely and following all company procedures
- Ensuring routes and areas are treated effectively during periods of cold weather
About You
- A full UK driving licence holder
- Experienced in commercial driving
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working outdoors and in winter weather conditions
- Able to work independently
- Happy to complete vehicle checks and paperwork
- Safety-conscious with a professional attitude
