Van Driver – Winter Gritting in Southwell

Driver Hire Nottingham are recruiting for a reliable Van Driver to support one of our clients with gritting operations over the winter months. This is a great opportunity for an experienced commercial driver looking for seasonal work, with full training provided on the gritting equipment and procedures. The Role As a Winter Gritting Driver, your responsibilities will include: * Driving a company van safely and responsibly * Carrying out gritting duties across designated areas * Operating gritting equipment following full training * Completing daily vehicle checks * Completing all required paperwork and documentation * Working safely and following all company procedures * Ensuring routes and areas are treated effectively during periods of cold weather About You We are looking for someone who is: * A full UK driving licence holder * Experienced in commercial driving * Reliable and punctual * Comfortable working outdoors and in winter weather conditions * Able to work independently * Happy to complete vehicle checks and paperwork * Safety-conscious with a professional attitude What We Offer * Full training provided * Seasonal work over the winter months * Competitive pay * Support from the Driver Hire Nottingham team * Opportunity to work with an established local client
