Driver Hire Nottingham & Newark are currently recruiting for a Van Driver to join one of our well-established clients based in Grantham on a temp-to-perm basis.
This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position with no weekend work, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
The Role
As a Van Driver, you will be based at the client's Grantham depot, delivering and collecting laundry from a range of customers, including:
- Restaurants
- Hotels
- Larger commercial customers
The role involves multi-drop deliveries and collections, along with loading and unloading the van yourself.
The job includes regular cage work, so you must be comfortable with manual handling.
- Hours & Pay
- Monday to Friday
- Start times between 6:00am and 7:00am
- No weekends
- Overtime paid daily after 8 hours
- Overtime rate: £19.06 per hour
- Temp-to-perm opportunity
- Full-time permanent position available for the right candidate
Requirements
To be considered for this Van Driver position, you must have
- A full UK driving licence
- 6 points or fewer on your licence
- Right to work in the UK
- Previous van driving experience
- A reliable and professional approach
- Good customer service skills
- The ability to load and unload laundry cages
Multi-drop delivery experience is desirable but not essential.
