Van Driver Location: Northamptonshire Areas Covered: Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough, Northampton & Daventry Salary: £12.71 - £14.25 per hour Job Type: Temporary Hours: Monday to Friday, various start times from 7:00am onwards Minimum Shift Length: 8 hours Van Driver Opportunity We are currently recruiting experienced Van Drivers for a number of temporary assignments across Northamptonshire, including Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough, Northampton and Daventry. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and professional drivers seeking regular weekday work with competitive rates of pay. As a Van Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are delivered safely, efficiently and on time while providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities * Deliver customer orders professionally and within scheduled timeframes * Load and unload vehicles safely and securely * Complete multi-drop deliveries to commercial customers * Follow planned delivery routes and schedules * Carry out manual handling duties as required * Maintain accurate delivery documentation * Represent the business professionally when interacting with customers What You'll Be Delivering * A variety of products to business customers * Typically 15 to 20 drops per day * Deliveries across Northamptonshire and surrounding areas Pay Rates * £12.71 per hour PAYE * £14.25 per hour PAYE Advanced (including holiday pay) Requirements To be considered for this role, you must have: * A valid UK Category B driving licence * At least 12 months' van driving experience * Previous multi-drop delivery experience in a 3.5T van * No more than 6 penalty points on your licence * No major driving offences * Your own transport to travel to and from the depot location What We're Looking For * Reliable and punctual individuals * Strong customer service skills * Good geographical knowledge * Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules * Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties If you're an experienced Van Driver looking for ongoing temporary work across Northamptonshire, we'd love to hear from you.
