Salary: £12.71 per hour PAYE / £14.25 per hour PAYE Advanced (first 8 hours) / £14.00 per hour PAYE / £15.69 per hour PAYE Advanced (after 8 hours)
Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 5 shifts from 6 days on a rotating basis, 05:45 start time, Minimum 8-hour shifts, Longer days available during busy periods.
The Role:
As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for delivering home appliances directly to customers' homes, ensuring a professional and positive customer experience throughout each delivery.
Duties Include:
- Driving a 3.5T vehicle on planned delivery routes
- Delivering white goods and household appliances to residential customers
- Assisting with appliance installation (full training provided if offered a permanent position)
- Completing between 10 and 25 deliveries per day
- Providing excellent customer service at every delivery point
- Using lifting and handling equipment safely and effectively
- Working independently or as part of a two-person delivery team
What We're Looking For:
- Full UK Category B driving licence
- Previous van driving experience
- No more than 6 penalty points
- No major motoring offences
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Professional, reliable and presentable approach
