Driver Hire Northampton & Kettering are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver on behalf of a well-established building supplies company based in Brackmills, Northampton. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and reliable driver seeking ongoing Monday to Friday work with a respected business delivering products to construction sites and merchants across the UK.
The Role
- Delivering building materials and supplies to new build developments and merchant customers
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects in line with company procedures
- Working to scheduled delivery routes and communicating any delays or issues
- Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and efficiently
- Following all company health and safety policies and procedures
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations
Requirements
- Valid Category C (Class 2) Licence
- Valid CPC Qualification Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 12 months' Class 2 driving experience
- No more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsements
Desirable but not essential:
- Moffett licence
