We are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers based in Northampton to join a busy and well-established logistics operation. This role offers ongoing, full-time work with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Shift Details
- Various options available including Days, Nights or 4 on/4 off
- 12-hour shifts (11 hours paid - 1-hour unpaid break)
- Various start times (flexibility required)
- Monday to Friday (Days or Nights)
- 4 on / 4 off days
Your Responsibilities
- Driving HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and efficiently
- Completing deliveries and collections to schedule
- Performing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Ensuring full compliance with tachograph and driving regulations
- Using digital systems/apps to complete delivery tasks
- Completing all paperwork accurately and on time
- Providing a professional and customer-focused service
- Communicating effectively with transport planners and managers
- Following all health & safety procedures
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Good knowledge of UK driving laws and regulations
- Previous Class 1 driving experience
- Flexible approach to start times and workload
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS)
- Distribution or trunking experience
- Experience with multi-drop or changing delivery schedules
