Full description of the role:
- £14.50 per hour (PAYE) / £16.25 per hour (PAYE Advanced inc. holiday pay)
- Handle goods and packages with care, including handballing heavier items and loading/unloading them onto/from the delivery vehicle.
- Ensure proper stacking and securing of cargo to prevent damage during transit.
- Safely operate a Class 2 delivery vehicle to transport goods to various destinations across the UK, ensuring on-time deliveries.
- UK delivery - Multidrop (10 to 15 drops), manual unloading of deliveries.
Skills / qualifications:
- Valid C licence (Class 2)
- Valid Tachograph & CPC
- No more than 6 Points or Major Offences
- Minimum of 12 months Class 2 driving experience
- Ability to lift and handle heavy items safely
- Flexible schedule to accommodate varying delivery demands
- Commitment to safety and compliance with company policies and procedures
