Duties
Helping to load vehicles, ensuring orders are complete, and planning best routes.
Carrying out all daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects to the relevant person.
Carry out multi drop deliveries and unloading vehicle by hand where required.
Organising Delivery Paperwork and ensuring, where possible, delivery notes are signed and returned to the Transport Office.
Keeping vehicle clean.
Provide excellent customer service.
Key Skills
Experience of multi drop deliveries.
Experience of load safety, including strapping.
Good customer facing skills
Knowledge of Tacho Rules and Working Times
Able to organise and manage workload well
A valid driving licence, with a maximum of 6 points.
Up to date CPC and Drivers Card.
Pay Rate
£14.00 per hour (PAYE) / £15.69 per hour (PAYE Advanced)
Salary when permanent £32k to £36k with HIAB training provided
