Van Driver with ADR

Location: Northampton

Commutable from: Wellingborough, Kettering, Corby, Daventry

Rate of pay: £13.50ph PAYE or £15.13ph PAYE Advanced (Including Holiday pay)

Temp to perm role

Days required & shift pattern: Monday to Friday, flexibility to work some weekends and to travel overseas.

Full description of the role: We are looking for a dependable Van Driver to support our clients ADR requirements across both UK and EU. The role involves the safe collection and transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous goods, ensuring full compliance with ADR regulations, environmental legislation, and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and transport customer products, including hazardous goods.
  • Operate in full compliance with ADR, road traffic, and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report defects promptly.
  • Complete consignment notes, and delivery documentation accurately.
  • Follow planned routes and schedules while adapting to operational needs.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Be polite and professional.
  • Keep the vehicle clean and in good condition.

Skills / qualifications

  • Full UK driving licence (Category B) + Driver card
  • Valid ADR certificate (Class 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9)
  • Valid Passport
  • Experience driving vans up to 3.5T
  • Experience driving within EU an advantage
  • Good understanding of road safety and health & safety procedures
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly
