Driver Hire Newcastle & Sunderland is delighted to be recruiting a class 1 relief driver for our national client who are based in Sunderland. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to secure full time permanent employment at a reputable firm with a great employment package.

With this role, there'll be no two days the same. You'll be a vital cog in supporting the region with holiday support, vacancies, training and sickness absences. As the role involves travelling, it's vital the successful candidate has their own transport. Depending on where your services are required, mileage will be paid as an expense.

Due to the nature of the role, the candidate can expect to spend nights away. This wouldn't involve sleeping in the cab as a hotel and food will be provided. The role will involve the delivery of modular buildings which can be for temporary or permanent use. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for variety in their work and is happy to do nights out. As a result, you can expect an annual salary of £35,433. Your working week will consist on Monday to Friday, but hours could change depending on location. Overtime will be paid after 40hrs.

  • Category C+E/Class 1 entitlement on the driving licence.
  • Valid CPC.
  • Valid Digital Tachograph.
  • Allmi HIAB hook loader is essential.
