Driver Hire Newcastle & Sunderland are looking to recruit a number of class 2 (HGV2) HIAB drivers for their clients based throughout the region with ongoing work available. Applicants with grab are encouraged to apply.
Contracts range from nationally recognised DIY stores to building and timber merchants, you can expect variety in the work and start times on offer. The positions available are for adhoc cover in Durham, Washington & Sunderland. However, they may have the potential to become ongoing with the view of possible permanent employment for the right candidates.
Requirements
- Category C (LGV2) entitlement on the driving licence
- Valid CPC and digital tachograph
- Valid HIAB Grab accreditation
Rates of pay can vary from one client to the next. However, you can expect a starting hourly rate of £15.75 per hour for the first 8 hours, with the potential to pick up overtime on weekdays and weekends, which are paid at an enhanced rate.
