Driver Hire Newcastle & Sunderland are looking to recruit a number of class 2 (HGV2) HIAB drivers for their clients based throughout the region. Contracts range from nationally recognised DIY stores to building and timber merchants; you can expect variety in the work and start times on offer. The positions available are for adhoc cover in Durham, Washington & Sunderland. However, they may have the potential to become ongoing with the view of possible permanent employment for the right candidates.
Requirements
- Category C (LGV2) entitlement on the driving licence
- Valid CPC and digital tachograph
- Valid HIAB accreditation
Rates of pay can vary from one client to the next. However, you can expect a starting hourly rate of £16.25 per hour for the first 8 hours, with the potential to pick up overtime on weekdays and weekends, which are paid at an enhanced rate.
