Driver Hire is the UK's number one logistics recruiter and we are currently seeking a number of Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our team and work for a variety of our clients around the NE, SR & DH Postcode! Whether you are looking for full weeks or flexible working hours we have the option to suit you best. We have work available from Monday to Friday so the ideal candidate will be flexible with the days they can work along with early starts/late finishes.
Responsibilities of this HGV driver will include:
- Driving a Class 1 HGV vehicle responsibly and safely, whilst obeying all traffic laws and road regulations.
- Carrying out the required daily vehicle checks to ensure compliance.
- Maintaining regular contact with the clients on your daily progress.
- Effectively plan routes to meet tight delivery schedules.
To be successful you must have:
- A Valid Class 1 Licence (HGV- C+E).
- A Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card.
- Experience is not essential for a number of roles so if you're newly qualified we want to hear from you.
Rates of pay start at £15.00ph which then increases after 18:00 to night rate which varies per client.
