Overview

One of our clients in Gateshead are recruiting for 2 x Class 2 drivers. This will be covering holidays and sickness on an ad-hoc basis.

Responsibilities

Your day to day role will include delivering products to building sites in the local areas. You will be expected to have the positive 'can do' attitude, you will be the first point of face to face contact to all of their customers with excellent customer services.

You will need to maintain and keep your truck clean daily, you will be expected to jet wash your truck at the end of each shift.

Rate of pay

£14.75 ph basic (PAYE), enhanced rate for any overtime.

Qualifications

  • Valid Cat C/Class 2 entitlement on their licence and held for at least 1 year.
  • Valid digital tachograph
  • Valid CPC Card
  • No more than 3 points on your licence
  • Experience is preferred on the mixer trucks, although 2 weeks of full training will be given.
  • Preferably to have had experience in the building/construction industry would be advantageous.

Additional information

This is a temp to perm role meaning that after 12 weeks you will go permanent with the client.
