Driver Hire Newcastle & Sunderland is looking to recruit a number of Cat C+E/(Class 1) drivers for one of our clients in Tyne & Wear. This role is for at least 3-4 months of work covering sick period but could be ongoing after this for the correct candidate.
Your typical working day will be going out to domestic addresses to pick up waste and wood and then returning to the depot.
Requirements for the role:
- Category C+E/Class 1 entitlement on the driving licence.
- Valid CPC Licence.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Licence.
- Experience doing walking floor on the class 1.
Rates of pay starting from £15.75 per hour (PAYE). Enhanced rate available for overtime after 8 hours.
