Driver Hire Motherwell are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 (C+E) driver to work on a contract with our busy client running out of Coatbridge. Work can include RDCs, trunking and store deliveries so must have a flexible approach to work.
Duties can include but not limited to;
-Various start times including days, backs and nights
– Daily vehicle checks at the start and end of shift
– RDC, trunking and store deliveries
– Delivering pharmaceutical and store goods
– Loading and unloading
– Handball will also be required on some routes
Shift Pattern
– Monday to Friday
– Saturday included every second weekend
– Start times of 0145 to 0700, 1400 to 1800
Before the work commences, you will be first asked to complete an on site induction with out client followed by introduction training. Give us a call to discuss further in what is involved.
You must have;
– Excellent customer service-
– Ability to carry out manual handling
– Good time keeping to keep up with deliveries
– A valid CPC card
-A digital tachograph card
-No more than 6 points on your licence *

Pay and benefits;
-Monday to Friday: £15.00 ph PAYE
-Overtime & Saturday: £16.50 ph PAYE

-8hr minimum guaranteed per day
-Opportunities to increase take home pay with PAYE Advanced
