We are currently recruiting Class 1 (HGV C+E) Night Drivers to work for one of our fantastic clients based in Beeston, Nottingham.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Class 1 driver looking for regular night work, with the choice of working Monday to Friday or Monday to Saturday.
The Role
As a Class 1 Night Driver, your main responsibilities will include:
- Driving a Class 1 HGV to various delivery locations.
- Delivering goods safely and efficiently.
- Unloading cages at each delivery point.
- Completing vehicle and delivery checks.
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time.
- Providing a professional and friendly service to customers.
- Following all relevant Health & Safety and driving regulations.
Shift Details
- Start times between 01:30am and 03:30am
- Monday to Friday OR Monday to Saturday
- Regular ongoing work available.
- Night driving.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) UK driving licence.
- Have a minimum of 12 months' Class 1 driving experience.
- Hold an in-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Be reliable, punctual and professional.
- Be comfortable with manual handling and unloading cages.
- Have a good understanding of UK road and driving regulations.
