Work is available on a weekend basis with regular opportunities for reliable drivers. Please note: This is not parcel delivery work.
Location Accessible from Torquay, Paignton, Totnes, Exeter, Plymouth, and surrounding areas.
Pay: £15.13 per hour PAYE. Weekly pay every Friday. Guaranteed 8 hours’ pay. Typical shifts of 8 to 10 hours with early morning starts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a 3.5 tonne Category B delivery van safely and professionally.
- Complete deliveries throughout South Devon.
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations.
- Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Follow transport legislation and health and safety procedures.
- Communicate any delays or delivery issues promptly.
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude when representing the business.
- Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Full UK Category B driving licence.
- Previous experience as a Van Driver, Delivery Driver, Multi Drop Driver, or Category B Driver.
- Good knowledge of safe driving practices.
- Strong reliability and time management skills.
- Availability to work weekends.
