We are currently hiring a trade counter assistant on behalf of a locally based client, who are one of Europe’s leading suppliers of air conditioning & heating equipment.
Due to a recent large scale takeover & a subsequent surge in business, they are searching for someone to join their dedicated trade counter team, to assist with daily customer requirements & to help meet an increasing number of incoming orders.
Your role as a trade counter assistant would involve dealing with customers face to face, when they visit the branch, as well as maintaining high efficiency levels within the business & supporting sales activity when required.
Driver Hire are proud to be partnering with an extremely supportive employer who offer 33+ days annual leave (including bank holidays), an attractive pension scheme, 1 hour lunch breaks & a great work life balance, with NO weekend shifts necessary.
With this position, there will be full training provided from day 1, ensuring you’re given the support needed to thrive in your new role & allowing you to quickly become familiar with the product range.
In addition to manning the trade counter, you will also be expected to help in the warehouse, to pick orders, load vehicles & other general warehouse duties.
Therefore, it is essential that you have operated a Forklift truck in the past, preferably a counterbalance vehicle.
