Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and professional Class 1 Driver to join our client’s transport operation based in Swadlincote. Working with a well‑established and reputable company, you will be driving a Class 1 curtainsider vehicle, delivering paper products to customers across the UK while providing excellent customer service and ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time. All loads are forklifted on and off, no handball required. This is a days‑based role with 05:00 AM start times and requires a minimum of one night out per week.

Pay Rates/working hours:

  • £16.50ph (+ accrual of holidays)
  • £18.49ph (inclusive of holidays)
  • Overtime payable after 8 hours

Job Requirements:

  • HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with a minimum of 12 months’ experience
  • Valid CPC card and Digital Tacho card
  • Handballing required
  • Ratchets and Straps experience
  • Professional Manner
  • Safety‑focused approach
