We are currently looking for an additional Class 2 driver to join our client based in the South Derbyshire area, on a Temp-to-Perm placement. You will be working for a manufacturing company and will be required to transport various products around the UK. Your deliveries will vary from 5 to 7 drops per shift, depending on the delivery schedule for that day. A driving assessment and induction will be required before being offered the position.
Job Requirements
- Experience driving a Class 2 vehicle
- HGV Class 2 (C) licence with a minimum of 12 months experience
- Valid CPC card and Digital Tacho card
- Happy to do some handballing
- No more than 6 points on driving licence
- Comfortable working safely and independently, following Health & Safety steps at all times
- Previous experience transporting construction products is desirable
- Good with customers
- Has a good eye for detail
