Driver Hire Edinburgh City is currently looking for an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Skip Driver to join a busy, well-established client on a full-time basis. This is a great opportunity for drivers seeking steady hours and the potential to move into a long-term or permanent position.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday 6:00am starts
- Minimum 40 hours per week
- Overtime available depending on workload
The Role:
- Operating a Class 2 skip vehicle on scheduled routes
- Delivering, exchanging, and collecting skips from commercial and domestic sites
- Completing work safely, efficiently, and on time
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues
- Following strict health & safety procedures
- Providing a professional and reliable service to customers
Pay:
- PAYE: £14.50 per hour
- £19.32 per hour (after 8 hours)
- PAYE Advanced: £16.25 per hour
- £21.66 per hour (after 8 hours)
Minimum 40 hours per week guaranteed. Weekly pay. Opportunity for permanent employment.
Requirements:
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous skip driving or similar experience preferred
- Good understanding of health & safety practices
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
