Driver Hire Yeovil & Shepton Mallet is recruiting an experienced Class 2 HGV Delivery Driver for a full-time role based near Shepton Mallet. This role also requires flexibility to be trained on other vehicles such as Hiab.
This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity offering consistent Monday-to-Friday work, weekly pay and the chance to secure a permanent position once you have completed your training and successfully settled into the role. (Not multidrop)
The Role
- Delivering goods to commercial sites across the region
- Train across all vehicles to support deliveries
- Completing multiple deliveries safely and professionally
- Deliveries are unloaded by forklift at the customer’s site
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Providing a professional and reliable service to customers
- Working Monday to Friday, with start times from 7:00am

Requirements
- Valid UK Category C/Class 2 driving licence

- Reliable, punctual and comfortable completing commercial deliveries
- Willing to learn other vehicles and skills
