Driver Hire is currently recruiting experienced Class 2 HIAB Drivers to work with one of our fantastic clients. This client takes pride in organising great routes and looking after its Team. No handball and bulk deliveries only to commercial sites. Not builders merchants. This is a great opportunity for reliable, professional HIAB drivers looking for consistent weekday work, excellent pay, immediate starts, and the option of a permanent position for successful candidates.
The Role
- Driving Class 2 vehicles safely and professionally
- Operating HIAB equipment in line with safety procedures
- Delivering goods to customers and client sites
- Completing daily vehicle checks
- Ensuring paperwork and delivery notes are completed accurately
- Providing excellent customer service while representing Driver Hire and our client
- Following all road transport, driver hours and health and safety regulations
Start times are typically 06:30, Monday to Friday. 30mins for safety checks in the morning

Requirements
- A valid Class 2 HGV licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Minimum 1 year’s Class 2 driving experience
- Minimum 1 year’s HIAB experience
- Be aged 25 or over due to insurance requirements
- A reliable, professional and safety-focused approach
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Good knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations
