Driver Hire Southampton is recruiting reliable and hardworking Class 2 HGV Drivers to support a prestigious new client in the Southampton area.

As a Class 2 HGV Driver, you’ll play a key role in helping keep the local community clean by collecting household waste along designated routes as part of a friendly and supportive team.

The Role

  • Monday to Friday
  • Start times between 5:00am and 6:00am
  • 7.5-hour shifts with early finishes
  • Drive a Class 2 (Category C) refuse vehicle safely and professionally
  • Carry out manual duties, including loading waste bags into the vehicle
  • Deliver a reliable, efficient service while working alongside the crew

What we’re looking for you

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
  • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply
  • Good level of physical fitness and willingness to carry out manual work
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
  • Own transport to travel to and from the depot
