Driver Hire Motherwell are currently looking to recruit a Class 2 (Cat C) Remote HIAB driver for work with a busy timbers merchant within Hamilton.
Duties will include:
- 0700 to 0800 start
- Carrying out daily routine vehicle checks
- Delivering building materials to smaller and larger sites
- Deliveries can be local and surrounding areas
- Some deliveries to residential areas
- Some drops with smaller items may include handball
- Use of HIAB ticket with Grab
You must have:
- A valid Remote HIAB certificate
- A good local area knowledge
- Good customer service
- A valid CPC card
- Digital tachograph card
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- No DD, DR or IN endorsements are accepted for insurance stipulations
The right candidate will ideally have knowledge of the building industry and experience in operating a remote Hiab vehicle.
Rate of pay: £16.50 p/h paid via PAYE with holiday accrual. We can also offer the option of an alternative PAYE model for an enhanced rate of pay with holiday accrual topped up.
