We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Van Drivers to join our clients furniture delivery team. This role involves delivering flat-pack furniture directly to customers’ homes, working alongside a dedicated 2nd Manto complete deliveries safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving a company van to deliver flat-pack furniture to residential addresses.
- Working closely with a 2nd man to load, unload and deliver items into customers’ homes.
- Ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Carrying out vehicle checks and maintaining a clean, roadworthy vehicle.
- Following health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Good geographical knowledge and ability to use navigation systems.
- Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting on a daily basis.
- Positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
- For insurance purposes you will be over 24 years old
Working Pattern
You will work one of the following schedules:
- Sunday to Wednesday
- Wednesday to Saturday
- Split week: Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Friday
Hours will be discussed at interview.
1-hour unpaid lunch break provided each working day.
