We are currently seeking experienced Class 1 (Cat C+E) drivers for immediate starts to work with several clients around the Littlehampton area. We have days (7-8am starts) and night shifts (6-9pm starts), up to 10 hour shifts available. Bonus rates offered for overtime or weekend shifts. Weekly pay.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles for the delivery of goods across the UK.
- Complete long-haul deliveries, occasionally requiring nights out.
- Conduct thorough vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
- Assist with loading and unloading as required.
- Communicate effectively with the transport team and customers.
What we’re looking for
- Possession of a valid Full UK License.
- Hold Class 1 (Cat C+E) entitlement for at least 12 months.
- Proof of Right to work in the UK (Birth Certificate or Passport).
- No DR10 endorsements on driving record.
- Flexibility around working hours, ability to work long shifts.
- Safety boots and Hi-vis.
- Reliability and strong work ethic.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Own vehicle to get to shifts or ability to travel to local train station.
- Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles, previous refrigeration or multi-drop experience is advantageous.
- HGV satnav.
