We are looking to hire 7.5T Drivers for our clients' delivery requirements.

  • Part time work available
  • Upwards of £625 per week for full time hours (when including up front holiday pay)
  • Monday to Friday work with the option to work weekends
  • 7.5T driver experience preferred but not essential
  • Temp to Perm Opportunities available for the right candidate

A number of 7.5T driver roles are now available in the Trafford Park and other South Manchester areas on a temporary basis. Every week, Driver Hire find consistent but flexible work for hundreds of drivers, across a variety of industries, ranging from the delivery of vehicles, flooring and car parts to hire tools and building products.

We don't require anyone to give up their weekends, as most work is Monday to Friday only, but if you would like to top up your income with weekend work we can help with that, too. There are a range of start times and shifts available to you. Typically, you will complete 8-12 deliveries per day, mainly to other businesses.

Our 7.5T Driver needs:

  • Cat-C1 driving licence
  • Must be a minimum age of 25 years old
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, IN's, TT's)
  • Excellent customer service skills and good literacy
  • Full UK Driving licence with 7.5T entitlement held for minimum 2-years
  • Able to work to tight deadlines

The duties of our 7.5T Driver include:

  • Driving company vehicle responsibly and safely, obeying all traffic laws
  • Carrying out required daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance
  • Maintaining regular contact with Branch Managers on daily progress
  • Completing paperwork accurately as instructed
  • Dealing with customers face to face in a polite and courteous manner

Plus, attractive minimum rate of pay of £14.00 per hour (works out at £15.69 per hour inclusive of up front holiday pay) PLUS, regular overtime (£18.20 per hour which is £20.40 per hour when up front holiday pay is added) paid weekly via PAYE.
