Driver Hire Kingston is currently recruiting a D1 Minibus Driver for a respected community transport provider, offering safe and reliable transport services for elderly passengers across South West & North East Surrey, London.

This role is based across multiple locations, including Walton-on-Thames, Sunbury-on-Thames, Kingston, New Malden, and surrounding areas.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday – odd days available each week. Finish time: 5:00 pm.

Pay: £14.40 per hour PAYE. Advanced weekly pay. Ongoing work with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing safe and friendly transport for elderly passengers.
  • Assisting passengers getting in and out of the vehicle when required.
  • Taking passengers to appointments, day centres, shopping trips, and community activities.
  • Carrying out basic vehicle safety checks before each shift.
  • Delivering excellent customer service at all times.

What You’ll Need:

  • A valid UK D1 driving licence (with 101).
  • Experience securing and strapping wheelchairs safely (essential).
  • A caring, patient, and professional attitude.
  • A responsible, safety-first approach to driving.
  • DBS check (essential).
  • Good communication skills and reliability.
