Driver Hire Gatwick is looking for a Class 2 driver to join our team as well as joining one of our very well established clients who are based in the Crawley area. This job will involve working Monday to Friday, delivering quality linen products to restaurants, hotels etc. Routes on this job vary between the south west, London areas etc.
Responsibilities:
- Up to 15-20 deliveries on a Class 2 depending on distance.
- Monday to Friday starting between 04:30 am to 08:00 am.
- Ensure compliance with driving regulations.
- Make sure all paperwork is signed, accurate and distributed.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks which fulfil health and safety criteria on the Class 2 vehicle.
- Oversee safe loading and unloading of goods.
Qualifications/Experience:
- You must hold a valid driving license, CPC card and tach card with the relevant qualifications for a Class 2.
- Be able to operate the vehicle responsibly and safely, ensuring loads are safe and secure.
- No more than 6 points, with no major endorsements/convictions. No (CD/IN/DR/TT).
- Would need to live within 15 miles of the workplace in Crawley.
- Minimum one year relevant driving experience on a Class 2.
- Good navigational skills.
