Job Description Role: HGV Class 2 ADR Driver

Pay: £16.30 per hour which includes holiday pay (£14.54ph with accrued holiday pay)Location: Full time, contract, temp to perm position.

Initially you will work on behalf of ourselves, then after a successful 13 week temp to perm period of 13 weeks you will join the client's team in a permanent capacity.

Our client is a leading hazardous waste management and container reconditioning facility based in Trafford Park, Manchester.

They are currently looking to recruit a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 ADR Driver to drive their 18 tonne and 7.5 tonne vehicles as part of their growing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe collection and transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste empty and full IBC containers across the North West and Nationally.

You will represent the company professionally while ensuring full compliance with transport and environmental regulations.

Key HGV Class 2 ADR Driver Responsibilities Collection and delivery of hazardous waste.

Transporting drums, IBCs, and industrial packaging safely and efficiently Completing vehicle checks and transport paperwork Ensuring compliance with ADR and transport legislation Maintaining high standards of health & safety Assisting with loading/unloading where required Providing excellent customer service on site visits Essential Requirements of HGV Class 2 ADR Driver Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV Licence ADR Licence (packages)Valid CPC qualification Digital tachograph card Good knowledge of driver hours and transport regulations Previous hazardous waste or industrial transport experience preferred Positive attitude and strong work ethic Benefits of Becoming Permanent HGV Class 2 ADR Driver Hourly rate at £14.54 plus time and half overtime.
