Driver Hire Stockport is looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team and work for our well respected client bases in Glossop.
Working Monday to Friday. 6am starts.
Responsibilities
- Driving HGV vehicles safely and responsibly while complying with all road traffic legislation.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks to ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Maintaining regular communication with the branch regarding your daily progress.
- Completing all paperwork accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- A full UK driving licence.
- A valid
HGV Category C+E (Class 1) licence.
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- No DD, DR, IN or TT endorsements.
- At least 6 months’ relevant HGV driving experience (preferred).
- The ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Pay Rates
- Paid weekly via PAYE
- £17.93 per hour
- Minimum 8 hours paid.
- £23.53 per hour
- After 8 hours.
These rates include holiday pay. If you prefer to accrue holiday separately, the rates are:
- £16.00 per hour
- £21.00 per hour overtime
