Temporary Class 2 Driver (HGV Class 2) – Day Shift

We are currently recruiting an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver for a leading insulation supplier based in East Kilbride. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for temporary day shift work.
The Role
As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering insulation products to customer sites while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.
Duties Include:
- Delivering insulation products to customer sites
- Products are unloaded by the customer using a Forklift Truck (FLT) – no manual offloading required
- Using an electronic Proof of Delivery (ePOD) system to complete deliveries
- Strapping and securing loads before each journey
- Adhering to all transport legislation, company procedures and strict health & safety standards
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of drivers’ hours and working time regulations
- Previous multidrop experience is advantageous
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused attitude
- Induction will be given before shifts commence
