Driver Hire Shepton Mallet is recruiting for a Class 2 Tipper Driver to work with a fantastic, long-standing client based in Felton, BS48. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional HGV driver who takes pride in safe working, enjoys variety, and is looking for a long-term role with development opportunities.
The role will involve dry aggregate deliveries, working across customer sites, construction sites and client locations. Health and safety is at the forefront of this role every day, so we are looking for a reliable, safety-focused driver who understands the importance of operating responsibly on site, on the road and around customers.
The Role- Driving a Class 2 tipper vehicle delivering dry aggregates
- Completing deliveries to customer sites, construction sites and client locations
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly
- Following site rules, customer procedures and health and safety requirements at all times
- Operating with care around site traffic, pedestrians, plant machinery and other hazards
- Maintaining a professional standard of driving and communication throughout the day
- Completing relevant paperwork and delivery documentation accurately
Successful candidates will complete a driver training day to familiarise themselves with the relevant vehicle, working procedures and site expectations before starting the role.
