We’re recruiting a flexible and reliable Class 1 Cover Driver to support our client in Exeter. This role is ideal for a driver who’s happy to work both day and night shifts, covering existing drivers as needed. The Role
- Covering day or night shifts depending on operational needs
- Class 1 trunking and general haulage work, loading and unloading during the day shift
- Safe, compliant and professional driving at all times
- Representing the client with a positive, can-do attitude
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 12 months’ HGV Class 1 / LGV Cat C+E driving experience
- Clean licence with 0 penalty points, due to insurance restrictions
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Flexibility to work days, nights and short-notice cover
Pay Rates
- Days: £16.43 per hour on PAYE accrued holiday plus £1.98 per hour holiday pay equates to £18.41 per hour on PAYE Advanced.
- Nights: £21.90 per hour on PAYE accrued plus £2.64 per hour holiday pay equates to £24.54 per hour on PAYE Advanced.
