We are currently recruiting experienced 360 Excavator Operators and Plant Drivers for busy sites across Eastbourne, Hailsham, and Brighton. We are actively looking for operators experienced on both tracked and wheeled machines, with immediate starts on offer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating 18t+ wheeled excavators (as well as tracked machinery) safely and efficiently out on open concrete aprons.
  • Precision lifting, carrying, and placing heavy road plates (weighing up to 4.5t each).
  • Breaking out tough concrete pavement, excavating deep sections, and ground preparation.
  • Loading dumpers, managing muck-away operations, and assisting with concrete placement.
  • Reading site plans accurately and executing supervisor instructions cleanly.
  • Conducting standard daily plant checks, grease-ups, and pre-start safety inspections.
  • Reporting directly to the Site Foreman and coordinating closely with ground crew

What you need:

Valid NPORS card with the CSCS logo on the back.

Solid, proven track record operating 360 excavators (tracked, wheeled, or both).

Full commitment to site safety and health & safety procedures.

A self-motivated, proactive approach to getting stuck into the job.

Full personal PPE (hi-vis, hard hat, steel toe-cap boots).

Punctual, reliable, and sharp on site.
