About the role: We are currently recruiting a Temp-to-Perm Class 2 Driver to support a busy furniture distribution operation. The role involves delivering items such as sofas, armchairs, and other upholstered furniture to various locations across the UK. Typical routes may include areas such as Kendal, Chester, Coventry, and Birmingham, with up to six drops per day. Although the items are large, manual handling is minimised as you'll be using trolleys and handling equipment to manoeuvre products safely.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver furniture products to customers across multiple UK locations
- Complete up to six drops per day depending on the route
- Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment
- Ensure safe handling and transportation of all items
- Maintain delivery of paperwork and records
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 1 year Class 2 experience
- Valid CPC and Tacho Card
- Physically capable of manoeuvring furniture using trolleys/equipment
- Reliability and strong work ethic
