We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established food wholesale supplier for an experienced

Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join their busy warehouse team.

This is a hands-on role that combines forklift operation with general warehouse duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a varied working day and is happy working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
  • Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
  • Moving stock throughout the warehouse.
  • Preparing orders and stock for distribution.
  • Assisting with general warehouse duties, including housekeeping and manual handling.
  • Working within chilled and frozen storage areas as required.

Requirements

  • A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence is essential.
  • Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse environment.
  • Comfortable working in chilled and freezer environments for periods of the shift.
  • Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team.
  • Good awareness of health and safety procedures.

Monday to Thursday

  • Shift length roughly 8-10 hours, but could be longer.

45-minute unpaid break each shift.
