Driver Hire Motherwell are looking to recruit for a Class 1 (C+E) driver for our busy client running out of Coatbridge.

Work can include RDC’s, trunking and store deliveries so must be flexible in your approach to work.

This position will be ongoing.

Duties can include but not limited to;

  • Various start times including days, backs and night
  • Start times of; 0145 to 0700, 1400 to 1800
  • Monday to Friday
  • Saturday included every second weekend
  • RDC, trunking and store deliveries
  • Deliveries of pharmaceutical goods and retail
  • Loading & unloading
  • Handball will also be required on some routes
  • Morning & afternoon vehicle check sheets

Before the work commences, you will be first asked to complete an on site induction with our client followed by introduction training.

  • Good customer service
  • Excellent manual handling skills
  • Good time keeping to keep up with deliveries
  • A valid CPC card
  • A digital tachograph card
  • No more than 6 points on your licence
  • DD, DR or IN endorsements are not accepted.
