We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 ADR Packages Driver to safely transport and deliver ADR packaged goods in line with all legal, safety, and company requirements. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle for the delivery and collection of ADR packaged goods
  • Ensure full compliance with ADR regulations, road traffic laws, and company procedures
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects immediately
  • Load and unload packaged goods safely, ensuring correct segregation and securing of loads
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately, including delivery notes and ADR documentation
  • Deliver goods on schedule while providing a professional and courteous service to customers
  • Adhere to drivers’ hours regulations and working time directive
  • Maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of the vehicle at all times
  • Follow all health & safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE

Requirements

  • Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
  • Valid ADR certificate (Packages)
  • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Minimum 6–12 months Class 2 driving experience (ADR experience preferred)
  • Good knowledge of UK road networks
  • Strong understanding of health & safety and compliance
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently
