Role : HGV Class 1 Night Driver Salary : £19.61 per hour including holiday pay (£17.50 with accrued holiday pay) Full time, contract, temporary, or part-time to suit, typically starting around 1930 and finishing around 0600am. Driver Hire, the UKs largest specialist transport and logistics recruitment company have been engaged by several major European companies to fulfil their permanent and ad-hoc/driver cover requirements. We are therefore currently seeking several HGV Class 1 Night Drivers for various roles and contract terms (to suit you) in and around Trafford Park. As a HGV Class 1 Night Driver you will be required to carry out depot to depot deliveries and trailer swaps, taking and following instructions from the transport teams. HGV Class 1 Night Driver responsibilities : Maintaining regular contact with Transport/Branch Managers on daily progress Securing loads, understanding height restrictions and legal height limits Driving vehicle responsibly and safely, obeying all traffic laws HGV Class 1 Night Driver requirements : Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card Full UK Driving licence, Cat-C+E Licence (HGV Class 1) held for 3 years HGV Class 1 Driver Benefits: Weekly pay paid PAYE by BACS Transfer Company pension Plus, attractive rate of pay PLUS, regular overtime, paid weekly via PAYE. Hourly pay Rate of £19.61 which includes holiday pay but can be accrued should you wish.
