Full-time position with the potential to become permanent. Pay is £14.50 or £16.25 per hour. Driver Hire Burton is looking for a few HGV Class 2 drivers to join one of our clients in Swadlincote. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year driving experience on the Class 2 vehicle, with the availability to do nights out.

Duties:

  • Delivering a variety of construction products to different locations across the UK.
  • Completing 5 to 7 deliveries per shift, depending on the daily schedule.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service.

Hours:

  • Early start times between 04:00 and 06:00 in the morning.
  • Minimum 8-hour shifts.
  • Monday to Friday.

Pay: £16.25 ph (PAYE Advanced – inclusive of holidays).

Job Requirements:

  • HGV Class 2 (C) licence with a minimum of 1 year experience.
  • Valid CPC card and Digital Tacho card.
  • Able to be physically fit, as some handballing will be required.
  • Professional manner.
  • Safety focused.
