Salary: £19.05 per hour (Weekly Pay: £17.00ph with accrued holiday pay)

Location: South Manchester

Work Pattern: Full time, Monday to Friday (expected minimum 40 hours per week)

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic HGV 2 Class 2 HIAB Driver for a large well-known timber merchant to deliver to business and residential customers in and around the north west.

Class 2 HIAB Driver responsibilities:

  • Securing loads, understanding height restrictions and legal height limits
  • 5-6 drops per day, using HIAB Lorry Loader
  • Driving vehicle responsibly and safely, obeying all traffic laws
  • Daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance
  • Maintaining regular contact with Branch Managers on daily progress
  • Completing paperwork accurately as instructed

Class 2 HIAB Driver requirements:

  • Experienced HIAB Operator Certificate with REMOTE Cat C Licence (Category C - Class 2)
  • HIAB Certificate - Class 2 HIAB Driver
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, IN's, TT's)
  • Full UK Driving licence, held for minimum 1 year
  • Able to work to tight deadlines
