We’re looking for reliable and compassionate Minibus Drivers to support our transport service on an ad hoc basis over the summer months. You’ll play an important role in helping older passengers travel safely to and from local day centres, providing a valued service that keeps them active and connected to their community.
What You’ll Do
- Safely transport passengers between their homes and day centres
- Provide a friendly, respectful, and supportive service
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues
- Keep the vehicle clean and roadworthy
What You’ll Need
- Cat D1 licence (no 101 restriction)
- Valid Driver CPC
- Digital tachograph card
- Full PVG Disclosure dated within the last 3 years
- Strong communication and people skills
- A patient, caring, and professional approach
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
- No CD, DD, DR, or IN endorsements
- Ad hoc summer work (not a fixed-term contract)
- Monday to Friday availability preferred
Typical run times: AM: approx. 8:00–10:00 PM: approx. 14:00–16:00. Hours may vary depending on service demand and are not guaranteed. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys driving, values helping others, and wants flexible work while making a meaningful impact in the community.
