The predicted salary is between 11.7 - 14.3 £ per hour.

We have a nationwide Bathroom supplier client looking for a number of Cat C drivers.

They have just opened a new regional logistics hub in Basingstoke covering London, Reading, Brighton, Southampton, Portsmouth, Kent.

They have a range of vehicle’s based in Basingstoke everything from Vans up to 18t Rigids.

You would not only be delivering to our clients stores but also to clients as well. This is a Temp to Perm role with the likely hood of interviews before starting.

  • Specific Roles and Responsibilities
  • Completing daily vehicle checks.
  • Check the the load is suitably secured.
  • Loading and unloading of equipment from vehicles (loads are usually on pallets with pallet jack provided).
  • Maintain the company vehicles in a clean and presentable condition, internally and externally at al times.

Skills & Qualities Required

  • Good communications / interpersonal skills.
  • Full UK Driving License, to include category C.
  • No major driving offences / disqualifications / convictions at any time.
  • No at-fault insurance claims within the preceding 5 years to declare.
  • Demonstrable experience of driving a range of goods vehicles, including 3500kg long-wheelbase panel vans.
  • Wide experience of driving in London, Reading, Brighton, Southampton, Portsmouth, Kent.

Ability to re-route around unanticipated delays and drive under initiative and common sense - not just blindly following a sat-nav.

  • Basic IT knowledge with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word / Outlook / Google Workspace.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proactive, self-motivated individual capable of working on their own.
  • The ability to work as a member of a team and to provide and receive input to and from other team members is vital.
