Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle safely and professionally
- Carry out trade waste collections and deliveries
- Complete flatbed deliveries across the local area
- Operate RoRo skip vehicles as required
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and complete relevant paperwork
- Deliver excellent customer service at collection and delivery points
- Assist with loading, unloading, and manual handling duties
- Work as part of a team to complete daily schedules efficiently
Qualifications:
- Maximum of 6 penalty points on driving licence
- Ability to travel to the Barnstaple depot for 04:00 starts
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling and lifting duties
- Mobile phone for communication and shift updates
- Previous waste industry experience
- Knowledge of local routes across North Devon
- Monday to Friday working pattern
- Occasional Saturday work available
- Occasional afternoon shifts starting at 14:00
- Minimum 8 hours paid per shift
