Driver Hire South East London are recruiting for 7.5 tonne Multi-drop Delivery Drivers for our catering client based within SE7 postcode areas.

PAYE: £16.00 per hour paid weekly

Type of shifts: Shifts are mainly during the week, day shifts, Monday to Friday. Start times can vary between 6am-4pm, 8 hour shift.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete deliveries correctly and efficiently, in a professional and timely manner.
  • Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Valid UK CAT C1 licence with experience and checkable references with no more than 6 points (no DR DD TT IN).
  • Valid CPC.
  • A manual driving licence.
  • At least 1-year experience as a 7.5T driver / LGV / HGV (references required).
  • You must be over the age of 21 years (insurance purposes).
  • Physically fit, as some jobs require lifting and shifting.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
  • Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards.

Licence/Certification:

  • Cat C1 driving licence (required) with experience and checkable references.
  • CPC (required).
